Radical Waste was founded by Entrepreneur Julian Knights after he purchased the successful Skip Hire business B&B Skips. With a long history of providing Skip Hire and waste processing solutions in the Norfolk and Suffolk area B&B Skips is the foundation upon which The Radical Waste Group has evolved from.

Taking a radical approach to applying change not only to the business, but to the antiquated waste management sector was Julian’s plan from the start, so it was logical that the business would be called Radical Waste.

The business has evolved to be barely unrecognisable from its original form with investment and optimisation taking place across all areas of the business. Cutting edge business systems and customer software drives the back office of the business, coupled with vehicle fleet management and tracking providing optimal vehicle routing and driver performance metrics.

The waste processing site has also been through considerable investment with new machinery, processing plants and a complete overhaul of the weighbridge systems to increase traffic flow across the site and improve the speed for commerical waste customers to unload their waste.

Doing things better, faster and processing waste in the most efficient and sustainable way was always the objective of Julian “Before I embarked on this project, I was concerned by the general state of cottage industry waste management. With poor standards in general, and a lack of quality customer service and often a disregard for the correct compliance, safety, recycling rates and making sure all waste is processed through correctly licenced facilities. I wanted to create something which left a positive legacy on the planet and improved efficiency and recycling rates all wrapped into a great customer experience.
